TWTR Twitter Stock Price

Well, this being pretty basic and factual, it’s not really necessary for me to have a view. The background to this really just being that someone, somewhere, probably should put up a piece simply to say – Twitter’s gone as a stock. Also, that the bonds don’t look – currently, that is – as if they offer an interesting opportunity.

On 27 October, after months of speculation and back and forth, Teslo CEO Elon Musk completed his purchase ofTwitter for the price of $54.20 a share, taking the company private. Twitter’s stock will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange on November 8, according to a new filing with the U.S. This comes a day after Elon Musk completed the company’s takeover after a lengthy ordeal late Thursday. • Incidentally, the delisting is taking place on the same date as the U.S. midterm elections.
  • The spam bot issue culminated in a termination letter sent by Musk’s representatives to the company on 8 July and disclosed in an SEC filing.
  • A yield to maturity of 4.3% (on the 3.875% bonds) really isn’t attractive in the current market.

So, having set the price back then, if they issue the bonds now then they’ve got to book a huge loss. We could, in theory at least, make a private contract with someone linked to some notional link to Twitter and its performance. There’s a Twitter bond out there that could be traded (although I’d suspect a very thin market for it). But to all useful intents and purposes, Twitter as an equity possibility is that dead and gone, expired. I mean whether the yellow circle dots mean, the confirmation of the breakout for long and short.
